MIKE SUTFIN’S MADBATTLEMAN REVEALED: FIRST RELEASE FROM RECKLESS TOYS!
After over a year in development, artist Mike Sutfin's first soft vinyl toy, the MadBattleMan, is ready to be released to toy heads across the planet. The first colorway, which Sutfin has deemed "Dusk," is absolutely stunning -- easily one of the most elaborate production paint jobs in the history of the genre. On top of a mango-orange vinyl, Mr. Sutfin painstakingly hand-painted a model for the factory and provided a 14-step instruction file, both of which were used to make a spray-for-spray, brushstroke-for-brushstroke replication of his masterpiece. The production paint job is shown here, and the sheer amount of handcraft on this piece is extraordinary.
Production will be very limited, and it will be available at San Diego Comic Con at a to-be-announced location. Please check back here in the coming days, or e-mail justin@toypunks.com for more information. The toy stands at more than 9 inches tall.
